They felt heavy with impending offspring, burdensome on their backs.  Thankfully, the Blue Gel gave them buoyancy and protected them from the certain death of exposure to gravity.  One has gone into labor; her armor dissipates as she flips in preparation for delivery.  Making a new shielf, the surroundings rush to meet her in a cushion of light.
