Pod

The pregnant Mother Pod churns out offspring with assembly-line efficiency.  She generates her babies from an abundant gold filling that spills from her womb.  After each smaller Pod is formed, they begin to migrate toward their mother’s tail, which possesses an opposite charge from her womb.  They cannot help being attracted to this polarity.  Once there, an electric current permanently alters their state, and they begin to blend seamlessly into the matrix of their universe.
